the day off with lots of fun activities

Eric Sawtelle wrote to Chris Poulos and asked him to attend the
Anniversary Open House - and he did! Chris signed trading cards
for everyone.
|

| Chris Poulos, Professional Bicycle
Stunt Rider, Motivational Speaker, Author, and Event Promoter signed
his sports cards. He is the 1991 World Pro Flatland Champion and the
1990 and 1991 National Pro Flatland Champion. He is a veteran of over
400 competitions and 10,000 live performances worldwide. He has been
featured in events promoting the ESPN X-Games and NBC Gravity Games,
and has appeared in hundreds of television programs, commercials,
newspapers, and magazines worldwide. Besides his professional accomplishments,
Chris also has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education
and a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. Most importantly, Chris has the ability
and experience to educate as he entertains. |

Then, at 4:00, the Club closed for an hour while we all pitched in
and got ready for the Trophy!

Finally, the Trophy is here
|
 
Club volunteers helped visitors take pictures. Since we had to move
the line as fast as possible, the volunteer took a practice shot
in front of a mock trophy and then moved the visitor to the real
thing. We averaged 22 seconds per group shot! The Lottery (Keeper
of the Trophy) said they had never seen the line move so well!
