BRIAN CURTIS DONATES $25,000.00 TO BOYS &
GIRLS CLUB OF MARSHFIELD
Tuesday, August 12 -3PM - MARSHFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS
Brian Curtis of Curtis Management presented the Boys & Girls
Club of Marshfield with a check for $25,000.00 today. The children
and Board of Directors that were on hand to accept this generous
donation were extremely excited. As the kids peered through the
windows of the future site of the Club they could see the renovations
that have already begun. Mr. Curtis' donation will help bring those
renovations closer to finish. The Club has been on an aggressive
fundraising campaign to be able to open this fall. So far the Club
has raised more than $370,000.00 in cash and pledges towards their
Capital Campaign. The Club is not town funded and relies on generous
contributions of the community every year to sustain viability.
Mr. Curtis stepped forward months ago to begin negotiating how he
could help the Boys & Girls Club. Mr. Curtis has been extremely
helpful and generous to the Boys & Girls Club. In addition to
this donation, Mr. Curtis financially helps the Boys & Girls
Club of Marshfield maintain their island that is located on Snow
Road in front of Marshalls.
