China Wok Donates!

I am very pleased to announce that George Lang of the China Wok will forward a check to the Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield, Inc. totaling $2,300. That amount is half of the gross revenue generated yesterday. Please note that the amount is not a donation off the net proceeds of the evening, but rather half of the total income for the day. George indicated that a "normal" Wednesday would generate approximately $2500 in gross revenue.

We did a total of $4,618.78 for the day!

Make sure to show your appreciation to our new friends at the China Wok by frequenting the restaurant when you have a "yen" for Asian food. Keep telling your family, friends and neighbors!

My thanks to George Lang and the China Wok not only for the financial boost but for the tremendous exposure afforded while promoting the benefit.

Even though the lights went out for about 20 minutes, orders kept coming in and delicious food kept going out! We also raised $151 in donations to the "bucket". A special THANKS! to the anonymous donor who put a $50 in the bucket!
