Build The Future Capital Campaign

The Club has embarked upon an ambitious $3 million capital funding campaign entitled “Build the Future Campaign” with a goal of constructing a new multi-purpose clubhouse facility that appeals to all ages and interests. Embodying our slogan—“The Positive Place for Kids”—this new facility will provide a more extensive offering from arts and crafts to leadership programs, athletics, educational assistance and most importantly a caring, supportive and safe environment for young people to call their own.

CAMPAIGN UPDATE

The Build the Future Campaign Committee has quietly gone about business since our informal kick-off when Pat and Barbara Roche contributed $1 million to get things started.

Since that time a number of individuals have joined the Roche’s in supporting the building of a new Boys and Girls Club and Family Center. More recently, during the summer of 2010 Herb and Pauline Emilson of Marshfield pledged to match the next $250,000 in commitments to the Build the Future Campaign. This goal was reached by the fall of 2010 and as a result we have proceeded to move forward with the design and permitting process and we hope to begin construction in the Spring of 2011.
